Nelson Mandela , the living day light of non-violence has just turned 92. After Gandhi and Martin Luther King , he showed to the world that non-violence can triumph. Still there are many who think that necklace (putting burning tyres around the opponents’ necks ) is the way to win a cause, that was Winnie Mandela’s (Nelson’s former wife) philosophy, maybe also the philosophy of Benjamin Netanahu and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. On this occasion I wish that good sense will ultimately prevail on the hate/violence mongers. Let there not be a ‘day after' when the sane will again lament “Oh! When will they ever learn ….?”
