jakeryan32orange park, Florida USA14 Threads 1 Polls 89 PostsI am a single dad with a 2 1/2 year old daughter who has been living with me for the past two years. Question: How does any single parent find the time to date. I am don't want to be alone for the next 10 years but if I am not at work or taking care of my daughter I am tring to sneak in a few hours of sleep....yawn.

You can get a baby setter,or take the child with you on the date or cook a meal at home,watch a movie with your date...some thing you all three can enjoy....if she is the right lady for you she want mind at all.good luck my dear,she is out there some where,just takes a little time and effort and planning on your part.

me too i am in the case,i have 2 boys(6 years and 3 years)
in the first times it looks hard but later it will be easier.
don't be ashamed to ask help from family for baby sitting.
or try to organize dates when she will be at school or kindergarten.
is she at school or not yet?coz it helps a little to have free time,and to teach her a little independance,she will need it to grow up in good balance

join some baby clubs and meet other single parents in your neighbourhood parent and toddler groups etc..its the best way to give yourself and your child some social interaction..good luck..

I totaly agree you never know you might find Mrs Right in one off these groups
As for dates a picnic in the park or at the Zoo.
