abitunlucky: When I am driving behind someone who has their fog lights left on when there is no fog can be very annoying, especially at night. The glare from them can be dangerous.
yeah agee! not good! are they to lazy to switch them off or they don't know? where the switch is? with front and back fog lights!

I agree with you on the lazy bit. I think the drivers aren't looking at the dashboard to see the warning light telling them the lights are on.

Godsgift: Front fog lights are clear and aren't directed or adjustable. They should only be used for fog really!

cars with factory fitted clear lights under front bumper
are called front fog lights and with older cars have a
independent switch either on dash or light stalk
some new cars they come on auto when engin is turned on,

the phrase spot lights came when owners fitted their own lights to the front of the car either under the bumper or
on top of it, or in the front grill and worked via a relay wired to main head lights or independent switch.........
