I used to love Micheal Bentins potty time, all his little invisible men and other creatures, any one else remember that one ?

Ultraman

(When I was abroad tho..shown in 55 countries, but not in the UK!)
a 1966 show, on tv a lot in the 1970s round the world, but not in the UK!

Has had 16 sequel series (a lot more than Trek, huh?) and some of them have had movies...I got back into it about 10 years ago...it's essential cult viewing, and the modern sequel series are really amazing.
It's really fun, and never boring. Always something new and very creative.

I haven't seen all of them yet, as there's like 40-50 episodes for each of like, 16, tv series. But hey, a guy's gotta dream.

ET was loosely based on Ultraman. (Most of the concepts in ET were from lifted from Ultraman). A space alien, with a light in his chest, in a 'symbiotic relationship' with a young earth-male, cannot survive Earth's atmosphere/pollution...virtually dead/ressurected, and in the end is revived & taken home by another member of his alien race. (Sound like ET? Well, that was the the story for Ultraman in his 1966 tv series.)

thumbs up
