Definitly there is extra terrestrial life . There are billions of galaxies and stars in this universe. you find the same materials and compounds that you find on this earth .Now the studies in deep ocean beds prove the life can surive in extreme conditions without the active support of Oxegen . I guess life is a feature of the universe. It can exist anywhere as the physical and chemical laws remains more ore less same everywhere but finding life depend of our concept of life and how do we look for that. but for sure life exist beyound our small plannet.

I believe there most likely is life in the universe other than ours.
With billions of stars with tens of billions of probable planets in the known universe and in our own solar system, the odds of water on planets (and moons)other than our own in some form almost certain, it seems that h2o is a reoccurring phenomena which leaves heat, sunlight, motion as additional factors.
In any case, life is a fairly easy thing to occur according to experts once given the above conditions
And to contribute to this is the fact that asteroids, meteors and collisions with other planets does occur thus transplanting minerals, water and elements.
So while the odds of drawing an Ace out of a deck of cards is low, that there are trillions of decks of cards to draw from increases the probability that somewhere, sometime over tens of billions years, one other than our own will be drawn.
That it evolves into higher life forms lowers the number of occurrences and, intelligence as we can fathom even more.
The odds against life other than our own are about the same as if we took trillions of decks of cards, threw them into a big pit and drawing five cards at time, discarding the unsuccessful combination back to the pit over and over again and yet, never coming out with a royal flush. An impossibility.
