Snowboarder11ennis, Clare Ireland2 Threads 7 PostsOk so maybe i might have met someone amazing on this site, and i mean amazing, not weird or lying or trying to get anything from me, just lovely. we have talked on skype etc for hours, the only problem is that she lives quite a way over the atlantic. If i could, i would be there now, but is that just me being young and stupid? need some advice here please!? I always follow whats in my head/heart but a little advice is never unwelcome :)

Maybe start saving money and vacation days for the trip... but don't quit your job/sell your parents' house/trade in your car yet.

Keep your expectations FIRMLY focused on friendship until you have the chance to meet in person - but by all means, go if you can! As long as you approach things as a casual friendship with no pre-conceived notions...you both should walk away with a happy, positive memory. Enjoy the journey, but do it wisely.
