Well last week I was waiting for my first bus to arrive for school and well the road I live on; get's a burning blaze of light dirrectly from the sun.
So this Gal was going to turn within the intersection and this young woman with her child couldn't see the light change so they kind of had a finder bender with the woman.
I was first to respond and the first to call 911.
Today, I went to pick up a ticket to a "Dance party fundraiser" to help breast cancer it was 5.00 for a ticket for two days!
So while I'm beginning to walk home it happens; A guy on a motorcycle tries to outrun a yellow light, and well he goes to turn and a truck goes to move forward. Now the Motorcycle wasn't at a stop, it was a on going transaction of jumping the light and trying to high tail it into gear.... the truck was just there to represent a "Pole" if you would... So the bike hits the front bumper of the truck and he fish tails it onto the ground, Note the guy is 41 on a Motocycle with NO HELMET!!!!
So all in all I rush over take the bike off of one of his ankles and then makes sure he's alive and breathing, He suffered a head injury and a possible broken or cracked leg....
I was first to respond to both accidents... in which case rarely happens to me, but honestly... it's enough to make me aware of my "possible calling"
Leasons to be learned, Wear Shades durring a sunny morning; ALWAYS wear a helmit on a Motorcycle..
