well so far my disadvantages hav been that i seem to find every wierdo on here or they will find me and the advantages are that i hav made some really good friends, 3 in particular including one iv never even met and prob never even will but hes always there for me when the wierdos strike, we txt one another every day, my day wudnt feel right if we had no contact, thats how good our friendship is.
So it cant be all bad here!!

This is true yes, there's no way in the world I would go on a date with someone who was in a relationship or even seeing someone else......I have never cheated on anyone and would never be the cause of anyone else doing the same either .............

It's the case in the 'real' world also, but it's something that is emphasised in the online dating world. Speaking from experiences, I've left many good girls go because there was the tantalising notion that I could do better, but there was little wrong with the girls I left go.
4. It encourages people to make judgements on others prematurely. If the profile or photo doesn't do it for us, we quickly move on, when there is every possibility the other person just hasn't come across as well as he/she would in a real life situation, and he or she may indeed be 'the one'.
It's a deeply flawed process, but there are advantages to go with every disadvantage.
