H.Hesse he was in love for Venice, often he did come to visit our city.

an hippy character ......in every H.H romance l did notice a master line a common word ............youthness power...........and a sort of reality percepition and possibily different way to be in this dimension

I used to read hippie stuff, and occasionally read New Age stuff on the net inadvertantly while finding out about all these alternate religions that 'cool' people pretend to know all about but can't explain. Hmmm. Quite a run on sentence. My favorite Hippie Book was called "Rolling Homes" about hippies who live in hand redecorated Hobbitty buses. There are pictures online. they put in wood paneling and stained glass windows and decorate with antiques. Groooooooovy. Used to read Kesey and Vonnegut, Tom Wolfe, Tom Robbins and other pithy little lunatics. Now a days I love to find vintage Stained Glass patterns with an emphasis on grooviness.

Ever see that Buddha movie with Keanu Reeves as Buddha? The scary part is that the movie is good and he makes a good Buddha. Dude! I'm Buddha! Excellent! head banger I thought of it because of the thread title. One of my friends named her kid Siddhartha.

Dang it, won't link to the page. Copy and paste the whole address.

You really should try some D.H. Lawrence... great winter fare in front of crackling fire... but watch out, a cuddly blanket just won't cut it in the end wink .

I read the books of Hermann Hesse when I was in a high school and liked them a lot. smile I think his books are great for high school children who start asking questions about the world and themselves, to prepare them for a real journey. smile

You can now continue your 'new-age' fun with Richard Bach. smile He's definatelly my favourite. smitten
