I think your overlooking a few things . A partnership falls apart when the benefits fall bellow the critical point . Nevertheless there are benefits in a partnership . I would love to have my X with her brains removed or dysfunctional and that would keep me happy .
There might be a lot of good things to find the X . The best one is to see for oneself why you had to go your own ways . It would set one free from confusion and would remove that guilty feeling which sometime lingers on till eternity .
I am not so sure that many couples would get back together and live happy ever after .
I avoid spending time hating people . It is throwing good after the bad . I spend my time loving people ..

I heard that a woman was invited to a party which turned out to be in the home of an ex (she didnt know at the time of accepting the invite) apparently he had treated her badly..so she went to the bathroom armed with a jar of marmite she found in the kitchen of his home and smeared it all over his boxers and left them hangin out of the washing basket in the bathroom....
