After some good times a few years ago, Ireland is being tested again. I trust that they'll rebound as they have throughout history. All the best my Irish friends.
My grandfather, French Canadian, my grandmother, 2nd generation Irish Canadian. Hence my once black hair, green eyes and freckles. I wear my freckles with great pride.

The old saying still stands "We're down, but not out!!" and the Irish have never been beaten, and this won't beat us either. Thank you for your support.

Gó raibh mile matha gut.
I raise a glass of acqua vitae....Bushmills to you and the health of Ireland.
I am crushed to hear of Ireland's trouble. My relative was the great playwright George Bernard Shaw from Dublin & a good friend of Winston Churchill. My Uncle was an Irish vicar.
Ireland will be just fine in good time. Their troubles are temporary. The Irish are very resourceful people, very resilient people and they've got the free world pulling for them and ready to help. Here's to Ireland!
Thanks for all the good wishes we're going to need all the help we can get to pull out of this mess. As it is we're facing more paycuts, higher taxes, property tax, water charges and a zillion other hidden taxes that will cripple us for quite some time to come
