Pretty much as long as he has no contact with the child

If hes level headed and decent he can socialise with his children

as much as he likes

well if the mother rears the child and stops the father seeing the child FOR NO REASON the child will grow up bitter and resentful

In response to: Anyone out there have issues about access to their Kids..... Today I had, the gardai were called as my ex refused to hand the boys over to me. Two and a half hours later after threatening to arrest her, I was given the boys begrudgingly. I am so sick and tired of this, its going on for two and a half years now with over 25 breaches of access, ranging from weekends to 16 weeks without seeing the kids....I am at my whitsend.... and I work/volunteer in this area.... I pity anyone else going through this

Sorry to hear whats going on with your kids , They call us adults!! and we should show our kids right from wrong, it's a shame they have to see all the fighting and arguing between parents, what kinda example are we setting them. I never stopped my kids dad seeing them. why hurt them it's not their fault , I hope your ex will see sense someday and SOONER rather than later and let you into their lives.

CurvyGal20: Its a case of circumstance and what goes on behind closed doors,

Even the best social workers do not know what goes on behind

closed doors, They go by their instinct and it sometimes isnt

enough

Granted, but in a case where it has been witnessed outdoors and reported and the physical evidence is still there to be seen on the child as was the case i referred to surely its negligence or incompetence then. As for the other case well i d make a fortune if i wrote a book on it!!
