STAYING IN NEW YEARS EVE (34)
I never go out new year's eve well not in years! Its the only holiday i really dont like... If i had my way i would be in bed (asleep unforturely) by 9pm

Go out on your own if you want, You dont need them there to hold
your hand
and anyway New years eve is a bad night to go out, You get far more drunken louts looking to ring in the new year with a fight

All year right i was at there stuff every birthday christening etc etc etc one of my friends organized a small christmas party i turned up iwasnt going to right then i got a text ah come right forget it your such a spilsport.Charming i know so i decided why dont we go out fo new years eve i sent out the text messages and all i got back was spending it with the family anotheir one have to get permission. Ill be in bed to SAME AS LAST YEAR

Well i got a text message few days ago KIDS WRECKING MY HEAD NEED NIGHT OUT BADLY . So i sadid new years and all i got was spending it with the kids .cabin fever i seriously got a bad dose of it

Well I hope you understand that they have more important things to do than spending a night out with you. New Years eve is still a special night when your a child, and I say fair play to them for prioritising.

consider yourself lucky your young and have no kids, for me that would be my worst nightmare

I sympathise completely. It's a pain not having anyone to go out with. I'm in the same position. My kids are grown up and will be out with their friends. I will sit at home on my own.
I understand that people have kids and it's not always easy to find or afford a sitter... especially on new years eve. I also understand that some people don't want to go out new years eve and would rather spend it at home with family.
Understanding all that doesn't make it any easier to accept having to sit in alone though. In fact it makes it harder.
