I noticed from your profile you have kids.... Tuesday is my three year old nephew's birthday. I would like to get him (among other things) a book. What do 3 y/o read or like

I know he's not a book critic but want something he'll really like

Can you suggest something?

dunno

I just have one, but she has always loved books, she has read the Harry Potter series several times. Books are great, kids love to be read to when they're little. Any simple story book with pictures is good. Curious George, Babar, Frog and Toad are classics, but at this age little boys don't care if the stories are about boy or girl characters (although their parents might). My friend's 3 year old son loves to watch Dora the Explorer and likes all the merchandise too. You can't go wrong with Dr.Suess, or P.D. Eastman or the Berenstain Bears either.
