well a few months...that a bit a lot... well for me
I would understand weeks but not months...I would give up the relations after a while.. but that is me.
My sister is getting a relation like that ...for more then 2 years like that.
Never met the parent..nor I never met him... well I live far away too but still.. they are hidding from everybody and my sister is not happy of that... lately he changed a bit and my sister's kids now see him.
I have tones of board games... scrabble ( of course) boggle, rummy, new york chase, baggammon, CSI, clue, scattegories, risk, hero quest, yahtzee, skip-bo ( those are card but still good), monopoly, and we play dictionary too... just need a dictionary and a lot of imagination ahahha.....
No fear to been hurt but more so because of concern for my kids.
I take my time before letting the man coming into my home... kind of respect for me and my kids.
So let say that we are going out steady for more then 2 weeks and everything seem to go ok, then I will begin to talk with my kids about the fact that I have met someone... then only then... we will plan a futur first visit at home.
So it is more a one path at the time rather then fear or no interest. But all along the way , the partner will be fully aware of what I am doing and why I am doing it. So he won't have any impression that I am not interest.
well as for myself...I will always be there for people around but in the other hand, I will never expected nobody to be there for me
People has no words and you can't wait for nobody...if they are there fine but if they are not fine as well ...
For a long time now, I have no expectation on people. I just accept them as they are. Being happy to see when they are there and not surprise when they are not.
if they are coming from other country ...don't wonder anymore....
they look to move in this country in a easiest way... they propuse to all until they find one who say yes...or then they offer money for you to get married...think twice...you are responsible for them during 10 years... finance and all of it... I have a friend who did it... not a good idea.... unless you are desesperate to get problems
ahahahahah .... well in french...the pub about the philadelphia say... mon phili... then that make me think of that ahahah sorry can't stop laughing here ahhaha
and I must admit that my english knowledge is not that far yet lol
