In response to: I have observed over the years that people who eat meat, appear to have more inability in dealing with stress or anger than those who dont, there are a few reasons for this i think.....what do you think?
the women in my country don't eat meat. They are very frigid.
Actractorguy: Veal is an extremely delicious meal.
Veal is when they keep baby cows locked up in a little tiny hut and only feed them grain and then take them to slaughter and make them walk on little weak legs and then murder them.
Human beings are created to be omnivores. Vegetarian diets do not provide all essential nutrients. I'm as much of an animal lover as you're likley to find, but those are the facts.

hmmm...maybe the "others" have grown another stomach and started to regurtetating the food ya know..
fruitcake32: maybe...just maybe...all the psychobabble is totally irrelevant and some peopple just happen to be irritating as hell ....such is life...roll with the punches
Every thing you read today is all filled with psychobabble, but for the sake of discussion and knowing nothing on the topic, I had to research, You are right most people are just born rude so the only thing that would benefit them is a boot in the behind...lol Just found those pages interesting reading, brings an old saying to mind when someone gets over excited "you should add more fiber to your diet" but maybe it is a fictional quote... But I am hoping spring comes soon, I enjoy tossing a juicy steak or a rack of ribs on the grill

gininitaly: ... I eat meat and even capture and release spiders and flies . But I do love a good vent of the forums.
Back in college had some macrobiotic friends and they were so malnourished they were yes, verrry calm.... but sorta looked like pale emaciated zombies.

Here you go. Great reading and it is based on the digestive system designs between carnivore herbivore and man.

For me no. But also I don't like to buy store bought meats. I prefer going to the local butcher house or eating wild game.
Little to no antibiotics and other drugs in local butcher shops. Absolutely no antibiotics or other drugs in wild game.
If there is a problem with anger it has more to do with all the drugs used in mega farming just to keep the cattle healthy long enough to make it to the slaughter houses.

I cook dead vegetables too. That doesn't seem to affect me much either.

Just because you say so doesn't make it true. I am a vegetarian and i am very healthy and not pale and my hair is shiny.

There is definately something to that Actra...In Mexico they dont have the money for additives and crap in thier food. Chickens are yellow and eggs taste like something. Im much healthier here without really changing my diet.
I think when we are young meat, dairy, etc are essential for growing bodies...As we age I just dont think we need it. I dont eat as much meat (very little actually) and I feel better for it.

i was unaware of those facts...thanks for spending the time to respond cheers E
I watched a PBS show a few years back about a large cattle operation. they fed the cattle with a bobcat scooping up out of a pile of saw dust and delivered it to the cattle, not sure if cattle would get the nutrients they need, maybe that is why the injections and additives to their food? then a few years back they announced in the US they were giving growth hormones to the cattle and milk products that contained no growth hormones would be marked on the container, I have never seen any saying contains growth hormones or not... another unsolved mystery
