last night a tear drop fell
but not for me but for you
for the ones that
are having to stand by
and watch a love one in pain
as they are slipping away
into the next life



sometimes we wonder
if there is a God
and why is God
letting them
go though this pain


but trust me
God and his angels
are there going through
it with them


the greatest thing
we can do for someone
is to pray for them
but when we pray
we must not pray
that our will
will be done


but we must pray
that God's will
will be done
yes sometimes our will
and God's will
is not the same
sometimes we cannot
understand God's will
and the things
that God does


but we must trust
in God
that God knows
what is best
for our love one
we must understand
that God will not
do anything to
hurt our love ones


when we pray
we must pray
God i am placing
their life in your hands
that your will
will be done
for you know
what is best for them
i trust in your God
to do what is
best for them
let your will
be done





sometimes it is us
who is keeping them here
for they are hanging on
for us


for they know
we do not want
them to leave us
they keep fighting
so they can spend
another day with us



they keep going
through the pain
they are in for us
they know we do not
want to leave
and they know
they cannot let us down


but it is not fair
to them
to keep going through
the hurt and pain
they are going through
cause we are not ready
to let them go


what is fair
is to tell them
i love you
and i am here for you
i understand if you
have to go
i will love you
through eternity
i will see you
on the other side


do not cry
in front of them
for they will know
they are the one
who is making
you cry
but only cry
when they cry


when they cry
hold them tight
in your arms
let the feel
your heart beat
against their's
whisper in their ear
that you love them
and you are there
for them
as long as they need
you to be
that you are going
to stand beside
their side no matter what
tomorrow may bring


yes it is hard
to watch a love
one slip away
knowing when they
are gone we
will never see
them again



for we have
yet to understand
the power of true love
for when we love
someone with true love
when there heart stops
beating they will
live forever in our hearts



yes their body
is gone and
we will not
be able to see
them with our eyes
but we can see
them with our spirit
we still can hear
their voice through our spirit


for we have
yet to understand
the body is just the vessel
that hold the spriit
for the spirit is
the true person
the spirit is
what makes
up the true person



for in true love
when you open
up your heart
allow someone else
love into your heart
you are also letting
a part of their spirit in
you are also giving
them a part of your heart
as they are giving
you a part of their heart


with each beat
of the heart that
love grows
where ever we
go in life
we carry a part
of their heart
and we carry
a part of their spirit
with us
.
for in true love
they will always
be a part of us
as we are
a part of them
this is forever
nothing can change it
not evening death

for true love
lays in the soul
not in the heart
for unlike love
that lays in the heart
when the heart stops beating
that love dies

but if the love
lays in the soul
the love will never die
for the soul never dies
it is eternal
when the love
lays in the soul
it will never die
but last through eternity

for death is not
the end of the spirit
for the spirit lives
forever and ever
when we no longer
can see the body
all we have to do
is look inside
of us to see them


for as long as
our heart beats
we will forever
and ever
carry them around with us
if we let oursevles
we can still hear their voice
we still can feel their touch
we will still have that feeling
we had when they are around

when we say
good-bye to the body
we are not
saying good-bye to them
for they will
always be
a part of us
as we will
always be a part of them


sometimes as we
are holding them
in our arms
we have to
whisper in their ear
