Blah, not a subject I like Haha, but it's come to the conclusion that I must be out in seven months. I plan on working as a Sales person (I don't think I'm very good at it though) But I'll be making $15.00 an appointment, with or without a sale.

So I figure, 3 appointments is equal to $45.00 a Day

$45.00 x 7 days = $315.00 a week

$315.00 x 30 days = 9,450 A month

o.0 hmmm I did the math last night and it turned out to be allot less than this... doh

But you get the picture,

I know I'm not going to buy a Car, too expensive...

But I know If I saved up for six months, I'd have a huge amount of money to travel with, I know the first place I would go to would be a IIT-Tech Resource center and get into an educational trade of the sort, but then I'd still have all that money left over.

Should I travel some just for the hell of it or save it and be a tightwad?

Anything under $500.00 doesn't seem much to me or hasn't in the past but if could work up a good enough income I'd like to explore my options.

if I were you, I would save some money first.
let's say about half a year of income. to feel more secure and to give yourself some more time to think what you really want.

and once reached that amount of saved money, then you could start thinking about traveling or buying a car.

Personally I don't really like cars, Had to many close calls when I was a kid, slippery wet roads, dressers flying off the back of a car... Semi's Scare the living hell out of me...

So yeah, I don't know maybe it's just my Inner Earthling speaking to me, confused ,

Well I've got a limited time to find out what I'm going to do, The Rents are giving me until I'm 23 which is reasonable and I can't argue with it.

Kind of scared actually Haha, moved out of the rents at the age of eighteen and had to run back pleading for a place to live due to the seven people I was living with bailed on a condo apartment they were living in...

Earn it first and try to live on it, then you´ll know how much is left in the end... it might turn out to be far less than you may expect. dunno

I'm fine with living in a two bedroom apartment for half my life, no need to expand in this kind of economy for sure.

Actually wish my parents could down size to make their lives a little bit less stressful.

Do you have 30 weeks in a month ?

45per day x 30 days = ?????

What you did was multiply the weekly by 30 to get monthly.

Yes I know this, I corrected it as well when two others showed me what I did wrong.

So many math heads I feel honored and blessed for the help rolling on the floor laughing

Like what invinciblemuse said : try living and see hat you can save each month.

Remember, when you live on your own, you gotta pay or very ligule thing (stuff that was for 'free') when you were living at home or with others (e.g. Handsoap, toilet paper, salt pepper) it all adds up !

Life is a journey. Decide your destination and then plan on how to get there. It will take hard work - but the reward is worth it.

Good luck. Hope it ok for you.

Yeah I know how tight money could be, I'd get 20.00 a week if not 50.00 from donating plasma every week, and with just that I had to eat sausages out of a can to feed myself...

yeah... I've been to the lowest of lows my friend, not sure I want to go back to it...but I will tell you one thing it does open your eyes as to what is valuable and what isn't.

Food, clothes and a place to live rather than parties, and buying electronics and the sorts....I'm not blind at how much people spend on useless but somewhat important materials, I just find luxury a thing to sit on....Which is a bad habit I have to break within the next couple months...

professor Just a suggestion - there are lot of people who work full time and go to school at night - exhausting, takes longer to get an education - but the rewards during and at the end of the journey - wonderful. You can still take a break during the summer and travel to somewhere you've wanted to go.

Save and invest in your education. $45 a day won't get you very far in life. As well, you have no guarantee of minimum 3 appts a day. You also need to factor in deductions from your paycheck etc. ......... its amazing how fast money can disappear. Once you get your own place, it will be even worse, so maybe look at sharing a place to help keep the costs down. Get your numbers right as well - your math is way off. At 45 per day you'll be lucky to clear $1000 a month depending on what is deducted from your check.
