Sativa_Soul: I always carry a little cartoon picture of my cat that my Mom drew for me years ago - it was getting tatty so paid to have it laminated after she passed away. I looked into my wallet one day and it was missing - it had remained there for about 5yrs and never budged but it had just gone missing. I felt nearly sick when I discovered it was gone. It was just a silly thing - but sometimes those are the things that can mean the most. I was living in a teeny tiny town in the West of Ireland when I lost it. I would have had no idea when or where it might have slipped out so tracing steps would have been impossible. One day I went into the local shop and was paying for my items and chatting to the woman behind the counter - I looked down at one point - and there was my cat cartoon leaning up against the side of the cash register! I was just short of hopping up and down in excitement there in the shop! It must have slid out when I'd been in there weeks previously and I told her it was mine and she said she'd left it there - that someone had found it on the other side of the counter (customers side) and had handed it up to her and because it looked old and was laminated she knew it was important to someone - so stuck it there hoping who had lost it would find it (and she thought it was cute!)

So - complete random chance it found me again and I hadn't actually lost it. And, it shows the niceness of people at times to do something like that! Alot would have tossed it into the bin without another thought - but she'd kept it there for about 2 months before I happened to go back into that shop again and spotted it.

Lovely story, I have a feeling my chain is somewhere around my house and hopefully i'll find it soon

@ Sharina, here hoping you find your name chain someday when your least expecting it hug
