I dated someone lovely guy, he had doubts so we ended it I think since it was early days I think this is perfectly acceptable! My ego is bruised sure no one likes rejection but .... why is he looking for constant reassurance! that I'm fine when in truth he was the one unhappy
He probably wasn't looking for something too serious, and may be he saw that you were not the type who deserves to be hurt. You should thank him for considering your feelings... Move on you deserve better.
