maybe he is just a decent guy and is making sure you are not hurt by his actions
If it was me, I would thank him for his concern, reassure him I am okay and move on

craized: thanks I have done just that but he's persistent I've reassured him but he's still texting and calling I've asked him to stop and not to have any concern so hopefully he'll lose that sense of guilt attached aww bless him I do think he's being considerate but for me... it sucks
