It is I who messed up. I was supposed to pick something new that I have done, but have never done before.
So - - - last night - with "Gibs" help and input - I did some very serious flirting with a new, older man, on the telephone. I have no clue where the relationship may go. However, "Gibs" gave me some very needed information about who was Ophelia in Shakespeare's "Hamlet".
So the new thing that I did was to do some very serious flirting with an older man. I have never done that before. I am fifty years old and I generally prefer younger men.
So - "Bailey" - if I have got the rules right - I pass the game onto you!

As I have written it was I who messed up with my understanding of the new game. However, I seriously did some new "flirting" last night on the telephone with a much older man. "It" was a new experience for me! I learned that I can still be very nervous!

Alright, I'm going with my mother to church. no, I've gone to church before-even with my mother! what I'll be doing is serving breakfast to the homeless. I've yet to do that, and she's been asking me to join her, now I'm going to- I'll report back once I've done it...

Last night.... at the pub, a bunch of us we sitting around having a drink. I was completely tunned out of the conversation "gauking" at an attractive woman. So, one of my buddies noticed this. He said to me:
"forget it man."...i replied "why?"
my friend said....she's a laywer, my cousin is using her in a custody battle.
Anyway, without all the babble, i was then dared by my loving bunch to go talk to her.
This may not seem big but i never do such things so it was huge to me. As my profile reads i am shy. I rarely if ever appproach someone first, and this was extremelly out of my comfort zone.
I took some time to try to make eye contact....smiled....awhile later we did from across the room. And well a few corona's later i felt more confident and approached her. We talked for a bit and well she gave me her card and said she'd love to be my find! Yahoo for me....

Here's how it works. I did something I had never done before. I'll tell you about it and what I learned if anything, then PICK someone else, and they have to do something they have never done before, tell us about it and then pick someones else to do something ......
It doesnt matter how trivial it seems, as long as it's something you have NEVER done before.
This is obviously going to be a slow game due to it not just being open to all takers. Bear with it, it might take off, time will tell.
So today I painted a canvas. Apparently I'm a cubist, a very bad cubist
If you've never painted with oils, I'd highly suggest it. The feel of a nice brush allows you to actually feel the texture of the cloth for the first couple strokes. You might even be able to paint
So this is where I "tag" the next person.
Lorraine, care to give it a go? ......
