yabbadabbadont: Ya gunna HAVE to stop..... You need to let them lungs heal....
There must be another way of getting that relaxed kinda feeling...
Medicinal something....
No question I need to stop. Had this been a few months ago, I would dread it, but lately with the way things have been, I am kinda looking forward to it. Would be great to wake up in the morning without a fit of coughing.

Check with your doc about Zyban. Can't be taken with certain other meds, (which is why I said check with the doc), but it is hugely effective in helping people quit.
I was sick for a month just recently and the cough and not breathing really gave me a great appreciation for my lungs. I am glad mine are back to normal and when I see people smoke at work I just shake my head...and remember how awful I felt when I couldn't breathe...good luck on trying to quit. It is very hard, but it will be worth it in the end. I smoked for seven years and still have nightmares that I started again, it's been 30 years since I quit, yeah started at 14 and stopped at 21.

I don't even enjoy a smoke now. I had so many problems as of late with my lungs and every smoke I have just aggravates it. Over the last week, I had to use a standard asthma puffer several times along with another one because I kept loosing my breath. I won't go into detail but from what came up off my chest, its time to quit.
