one of my uncles in spain lived for 30 years as an artist and sculptor ! He lives in a mountain village in Soria province called Calatanazor..Have you heard of it ??

I was cooking a paella and ended up with bright yellow fingers from saffron ... it gave me an idea of painting a painting with only food items out of my kitchen cupboards ... it's painted with saffron, red beetroot, coffee, tea, and I can't remember what else!!!!!

I like them specially El Portal, although your friends portrait has a lovely smile, which I like it too.
Wish you the best on your art work and I hope you get to exhibit them in many galleries, plazas, cafés,internet, university forums, etc..
Perhaps, making contact with other artist from around the world and making a collective exposition here and there.
