crazyboynvaTucson, Arizona USA25 Threads 485 PostsOk, is there such a thing as a guy (or girl) being TOO nice? I mean, I've heard of people being told they were too nice. Getting away from the typical "what I want in a person" scenario (weve heard enough of that). Keep it simple..nice, or not?

I think there ARE people who are TOO nice. They are the one's that usually end up getting hurt the most. I think they tend to be pleasers, want to be helpful or just real sensitive to other peoples emotions.
Maybe they lack self esteem and will put up with anything. Then there are the "fakes." They are charming and helpful and full of compliments or try to impress you with their money. Kinda like the guy who wants to seel u that lemon.
Maybe in the world there really are people who are just truly too nice. Sometimes closed doors hold a lot of secrets.

Anche a me..I have been told many times that I am too nice, I always take it as a compliment from someone who is not (to nice)! The world can never have to many "to nice" people in it.

I am also too nice but it always pays off and earns the respect of your peers, I'm only nice to people who are nice to me. I guess Angels or Demons would only be decided by what the person wants. Do you want an angel or a demon?

I have been told I am too kind hearted.I also hate confrontations or hearing people fight.Too much bad karma.On the demon side I do have a temper sometimes.
I feel my sense of humor and quick wit developed as a defense mechanism when I was young to ward off mean people.I also beat them up lol.
But I digress I would like a nice down to earth guy cause I have had enough of a**hole to be perfectly frank.

Well, I don't know how nice I am...caring, yes, no doubt, but nice all the time? I dunno...I have my days, but overall I do try to be a nice guy. Not as nice as some of you volunteering and all, I mean alot of you (you know who you are) help people get better and try to give a positive contribution to the world. Throughout my career, my job (refer to what kind of job do you do) was to entertain them into a drunken stuper which in turn probably caused alot of them to do drugs and/or to have one night stands and such, which in turn, alot of them probably caught dise... oh my God! I could have been the cause of alot of turmoil in this world! I don't know if I'm very nice...what do you guys think? I'm all mixed up here!

crazyboynva, if people got drunk etc...not your fault they had a choice to do as they did, you didn't hold a gun to their head. you are nice! you've made me feel very welcome here along with the others. i was brought up to be too nice so the hurt follows but am doing my best to get to the point of being just nice and to go overboard with it and make wiser decisions and for an old lady this is a real chore. hope all have a good night.

Have to agree with those of you who said a balance,life would be pretty boring if we where all the same,sure most of the time we do or best to be "nice",but the reality is that we are not always that way,whether through thought or through actions,we are a little of both.

crazy, music is one of the most wonderful things in life.
You have the ability to bring it to the masses.People dance to it,make love to it, fall in love to it,work,shop sing along with it.The world would be a cold dark place without it.So you have helped people do a lot of positive things too you see.The other stuff was an adult making bad choices.
