Ever notice we keep electing outsiders (11)
It's easier for one of the political parties to put up a candidate that doesn't have the sort of history and baggage that anyone that's actually been in the trenches would have. They're politicians. The more we know about them, the less we're going to like them.

I raise the question cause I've always wondered who is says more about, us or the polititians, that no one can win by running on their record.

It's not so much that politicians can't run on their record. I think the real problem is that millions of dollars spent to investigate and millions more spent to create propaganda from the results of the investigation makes it easy enough to put together a hard hitting smear campaign that can sway enough people to win elections handily. Campaigns are won by he who was able to best shield himself from the tarring and feathering and a lot of times, that's going to be the guy who hasn't accomplished anything. You can't do anything wrong if you don't do anything at all.

i think they(CEO'S AND MAIN SHAREHOLDERS) elect the one who promises more to our multinational corporations interests; it sounds logic.
