Although I grew up in a house where hurling was a religion, I was always more into music and of course flying.

I do love to see the cups and medals in my mams house though.

no we won't we will beat westmeath in the hurling then galway will slaughter us, in the football i think we have a chance against louth but if we do beat them we will get hammered in the next round

it would probably be kildare or wexford more than likely kildare although they have a tricky first round against wicklow

That's like us in West Cork. It's football all the way. I won't say we've no hurling, but it's certainly secondary. Apart from Bandon, all the main towns in West Cork play football to a higher level and even they only play hurling at the lower intermediate grade.

So I was brought up on football but always liked hurling too. A fine sport, just can't get AS enthused about it as football.
