Start by having reasons why you can't do something for when your approached again.

any good phrases which i can use i have learnt myself to be more strict with people and be more assertive.......

my personell manager said to me ''there's alot of gossip going around about you isn't there jamie...
i replied ''don't listen to gossip because i dont beleve in everything they say about you''
i said this because
1, its' not against her
2, it's not rude

Jason , visit your Advice Centre .. Talk to them about what you are experiencing . They would be able to give you pointers as where to seek 1-1 help . I use to work for CAB . It is with in the subjects which they give advice for . I think you will be much better off with someone near or on the phone to give you support as you progress .

I've been in the same boat the first thing I did was learn to tell people "NO" i used to have a problem with that, but once i got used to it people started giving me a break.

i class my self as a kind person who would do anything for anyone,ive got meny friends who no this,but they also know that i know the diff between doing someone a fav or being walked alover,people have tryed to take advantage and ive replyed with words that i can use on this forum,,,,i think they got the message becouse they never tryed it again,you can still be kind and the same person with out people walking alover you but youve just got to let them no that you dont want to be walked alover or they will keep doing it and doing it,your a good person mate,dont let it keep happening
