Can i have some advice please i suffer fairly badly with my feet i have fallen arches which mean I'm flat footed.Recently went to my local GP for to them to be checked because the hurt so much he sent me for an X RAY but came back all clear i have the proper insole in my shoes but find I'm under tremendous pain that sometime spread into my calf muscle.


I cant walk on uneven ground my ankles swell up it really getting me down because i love to walk and run but now finding when i come I'm in really bad pain.does anyone else suffer with the same condition or have any ideas on the topic that would help it be really appreciated.

If you can afford it, I recommend seeing a Amatsu(active balance) practitioneer.... you could have back issues or even allignment issues which then manifest themselves in other areascheers

Sorry Biggles, What about MBT runners, I have heard that they help with fallen arches. I have a friend who swears by them, she doesn't have fallen arches but had pain from a back injury and they seem to have really helped.wave

Thanks everybody im ringing the local foot doctor today he call down to the local chemist on a thursday i murderd with the pain cant move at the mo.

Sorry Biggles, What about MBT runners, I have heard that they help with fallen arches. I have a friend who swears by them, she doesn't have fallen arches but had pain from a back injury and they seem to have really helped.


Thanks S i can only seem to wear Reebok runners at the mo sometime there all right i have alook at those runners on the net.

@Biggles, I believe the MBT's take a bit of getting used to as you walk with a rocking motion but I really have heard only good things about them.

I feel for you I hear its very painful
as someone said if you can try a pair of MBT's and yes the do take some getting used to I have a pair and the kill me but i try to wear them now and again. Also try Asics the have a higher arch inside the runner it might help relieve the pain tho not sure but worth trying on at least, plus Elvery sports are doing a balance test at the moment worth a look at as the tell you which shoe is best for u
