why is dating or finding a man/women to be with like the whily coyote and the road runner? ( Archived) (4)

its interesting looking at relationships in a third party perspective through my experiences its like were in a clip scene from loony tunes whily coyote vs the road runner hes always chasing tail but never gets any where always with these blue print ideas but always back fires jst like dating when u first meet up with someone on an official dating bases ur thinking a thousand things at once based on impression,looks and all of the above. the question i am asking is why and will whily coyote ever catch the dang road runner and be happy? its like its in our genetic code that we have to be on that search for someone, that we wont be happy till were complete ive seen soo many people put there whole self into a relationship but only to get hurt. people who spend 100's of dollars on sites like this one to find such a connection i am not here to bash those who do, do this if anything i give them alot of credit expanding on an international lvl for something soo precious and rare to find with/with out such an interconnected web its jst me myself that looks and analyses such scenarios im not goin to lie i have been having trouble finding the "right one" but it jst facinates me and to a point sparks my curiosity on how far pple will go to catch there road runner yes i am single yes i have been in only a few relationships but i have known some many pple and listened to them talk about there relationships good and the bad and came to the conclusion of why? and the urge to want to dive back into the menace we call a relationship maybe then i can get my answer but feed back from here would do aswell please feel free to comment and give ur opinion on this thought of mine i love third person critiques and maybe it get set my mind to ease.

An interesting analogy.

The question perhaps is, would Wiley be happy if he caught the Road Runner? He may be happy having achieved his goal, but what would he do once the Road Runner was done and dusted?

All his skills and efforts are focussed on the chase. If there's no one to chase anymore, he would be a miserable wee beasty.

Perhaps this is so with internet dating. Most folk enjoy the thrill of the chase and flirting with new flirt-inspiring people. The internet dating medium has a wealth of opportunities to do this.

But once the thrill of the chase has run its course, do we have any other skills to offer to continue relations, or do our abilities suddenly, like Wiley's, become redundant?

Unless we focus on our relationship skills beyond the chase we just go round and round, episode after episode, using the same ill thought out mad schemes to catch our nemesis.
