2 girlfriends and I have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other so it has become a custom that we have a combined party.
Last years theme was Rocky Horror Picture show/horror and was a hoot. People were told to either come in costume or strip to their undies, coz most of the movies people were walking around in their undies lol.
Strangley everyone turned up in theme....
The house had blood splatters everywhere, bodies chalked on the carpet. Spiderwebs hanging from everywhere, bloodied lighshades complete with bats etc hanging from them and we also did theme food like eyeballs, witches fingers and spiderwebs eggs.
not sure if we had more fun setting up for the party or the actual night lol
This year I think the theme is going to be masquerade, not sure how far we will go with the decos this year though

My daughter had a theme party and it was school girl /boy and she invited all her school buddies was about 100 people at her party, great party. My son he booked a cruise cabin boat on the swan river in Perth about 40 people was an awesome party. The captain of the boat and his crew did the barbacue. It was an expensive party but worth it if you can afford it, we were out on the boat for 5 hrs in the evening cruising around the river music and dancing the night away.
