I watched a wonder goal today in a friendly between West Bromwich Albion (The source of all evil) and some US side where the Keeper did a goal kick over the midfield and then it bounced up and over the other keepers head and into the tesco carrier bags goal. Brilliant piece of work.
Looking forward to this season. I think it will be less of a battle for teams down the bottom though this year. Last year it was very tight but this year I think it wont be so close.
My prediction may change given transfers, but as it stands I think Swansea will surprise a few people early on but finish 19th above a Norwich side that finishes 20th. Albion or Wigan for 18th as Albion were lucky last time around.
Liverpool will do well to make the top four and getting above Tottenham will be an achievement for them. As much as I dont like Chelsea I prefer them to United so I hope they take out the title and I hope City give United a scare right to the end. It would be great to see City second and above United come season end but I think its too close for that.
Sunderland will start slow but fight with Tottenham all the way.
Aston Villa, Wigan and Blackburn will all be in fear of dropping into the final five spots all season and QPR will be at odds with Wigan all season and if Wigan end above them then they will be safe.
In amongst these will be Wolves who last year had a season marred by injuries along with early season last minute stuffups where they threw away leads and drawn games with only injury time to go. They seem to have fixed the last minute stuffups and have greatly strengthened defence and now have a fast winger back on the right. I think they will finish below the middle of the table but not by much.
The rest is too hard to guess and they will all be around midtable or just above.
