It appears you are, for sake of discussion, raising what ifs so I’ll play along. What if after nearly a year of asking her where they were headed the guy finally got fed up with the response of I don’t know I can’t even figure myself out? What if she wasn’t providing the necessary signals to even maintain a supposed friendship? What if she was moving on as well without letting him know of her plans? What if after both living a lie for some time neither were able to be honest with each other? Of course you’re part of the cheated on club so it couldn’t possibly be anyone other than the guy to blame. Nope, there could be no other reasons to make contact other than to go after women.
