jem1964: thought it was time for a positive post about the net, as we see so many posts and threads about scammers and bad things about the net

HASHIM555: yup internet can inflence our life alottttttt and specially in finding out new people of your choice and mentality.
in this technological age of internet when ur doing ur studies , entertaintment etc etc etc on computers , why not try to get to know people who u cant reach in normal circumstances and who you can discuss ur internal light and dark issues with .
i came to this site 7 days back and i have chatted to very bright and intelligent women and men and i love that because difference of minds and thoughts is the real thing , even by reading a different profile made by some one can get you to self love ur personality.

but please don't expect a reply to any messengers you send me as there is quit a big age gap and I have boys your age
so please, think before sending messengers, just some advice but maybe try girls your own age

So why is it that even though I have never met this woman are there tears streaming down my face?
It is because of this wonderful lady I have met many friends through her email group. I have laughed and cried with them, and been inspired by them. She has changed my life in a positive way.
So RIP Anjii, and thank you for making my life a richer and more beautiful thing because of the people I have come to know through you.
And here we all are on a site trying to find friends, and maybe much more, maybe, just maybe, it is possible, the net can influence our lives in a positive way

I think that our netbuddies are the penfriends of yesteryear. The internet has enhanced our interactions greatly. We can have conversations through threads, and IM, exchange pics instantaneously.
Yes, I believe that very real and genuine friendships come about, and enhance our lives.
I've been very fortunate to meet many of the people I exchange emails and such with. What I've found is that every one of them is exactly the same in real life, as they are on line.
