Well time is come for me to delete my profile for reasons as I feel Tarnsz is done with on here as only here for the forums. Have only ever had one user name but its time for deletion but I will pop back one day as a new name to say hello.
YES I think it's a bloody good idea because if you don't teach boys they will never know and guess who suffer later on, yeah their girlfriends and future wives.
So yes and I have raised 2 boys who can do of that and no way are they poofs
Both through school did cooking, sewing and it paid off as just having a giggle to myself as I used to mend their clothes when they were younger and I can actually as teenagers and they had a rip in clothing or button off an item of clothing they liked, they would mend it themselves.
And also when I used to go away and leave them the house to party in, they always cleaning up and vacummed and etc so when i returned home, the house was clean
So if boys arent taught the basics, then thats their excuse for not being able to do the most simple daily chores live.
Thank you Nature as you have just addressed something that has been bugging me big time here, serioulsy !
I was brought up with manners and respect and use the trains alot here and if sitting will give up my seat with hestitation to my elders as that's just what you do
On a train the other week and offered a elder lady my seat straight away and she said she was fine as not going far and this guy was standing also with his bags and just got back from a trip overseas and said to me "that was so nice, you don't see that very often" in which i replied "yes i have noticed"
and what is it with people, that they don't use common courtesy and respect and manners to do the right thing......
Yes there was one thing that I have always wanted and I didn't thing it was ever going to happen but if you are determined and live on hope, dreams can come true so never give up
After years of wondering and searching since I was 12yrs old, I finally found my dads only brother about 7 years ago after spending approx 18mths searching the internet - wasnt as uptodate as what it is now
And happy ending too as I made the trip to Slovenia on my own to the unknown and was the most amazing family reunion and just a fairytale come true - one of the best moments and times of my life
Don't ever say you can't do it, it you want it badly - do it, there's always a way, just really depends on how bad you want it
When I packed up all my household in NZ and put it in storage,
I couldnt part with or sell my boys, books, collections of all kinds (boxes of mcdonald collector toys, tonka toys etc
I boxed everything of theirs and keeping it all for one day when they have children
I couldn't part with my wardrobes of clothes and packed them all away to
Well I kept everything to fully furnish a house but since i am not going back to live, I have said to my sons, it's all theirs apart from sentimental boxes which they must look after for me.
Sometimes in life, we think our possessions are our lives but really they are just what was part of lives
and it makes me happpy to set them up then sell what was ours
A good boss of mine once said to me "everybody is replaceable" and he so correct and have always remembered that as some people think in their jobs, no one could ever replace and do their job and yet every job and position is replaceable
Easy Maria, just go to your local Dulex shop or if another proper paint speciality shop and take your paint and sample of colour that you want and they can normally match pretty good to what you want
Done it a few times when painting my house in nz and good paint shop specialists with colours know know know to tint and also have awesome computerised technology these days
Hi and welcome to the forums and you are from kiwiland so speak up and voice your opinons like we all do, hey we are just human with good and bad points lol
and there's no need to feel intimidated as it's just the forums
Wow, nothing fazes me these days, anyone else on here (female) had someone asking not for money but offering money for paper marriage what people will do to stay in a country and I did see a programme a few months ago here just on that subject of it happening alot here....
People are so desperate sometimes, they will do anything, kind of sad really
Ummmmm, living life in Sydney just getting out and about and doing everything and having a ball whether it is me out on my own adventures or my flatmate taking me out on the town as friends and learning and seeing things I wouldnt have on my own.
It's so different and exciting after living in a small town for the last 14yrs so just enjoying it all, different side of been single with no lawns to mow or gardens to weed and having weekends to do as I please :)
and it cant get any better than sitting in a boat moored at darling harbour having dinner and drinks and watcing everyone and everything going on around ya on a saturday night and the watching the fireworks which go off every sat night from the boat
I was looking through my emails and there was one sent to me a few days ago as well but no matches off the forums so I dunno, I really didnt think that much of it as hadnt opened it until seeing this thread.
