Blizzard14u: Have you also had enough with these clowns that think they run the country, but cant even organize a BBQ, why do we put up with these clowns?
What choice do we have - is all the same rubbish which ever party or person we vote for

Whatever side of the political fence you're on, I believe it's totally inappropriate of Krudd to announce at a press conference and in Washington, no less, that he thinks the (his)PM will not win the next election. WTF was he thinking? ...He is still the Foreign Minister, until he formally resigns - does he know this?????
The moment he arrives, he should get the sack. I hope the PM has the balls to do that.
I don't believe he will have the numbers. Reason being, if nothing else, is that no-one who worked with him while he was PM, want to work with him again. It is now public knowledge, that when the times got tough, he froze and simply avoided making the hard decisions required. ...Fact.

Blizzard14u: Why not none off the above? Why can’t we not vote for these morons? If we are forced to vote or face a fine, why should we not have the right to say none off the above are worthy off a vote! Why should we be forced too vote for the idiot that we think will stuff up the country less each time we are forced too vote!
We need someone that will stand up too the banks and the retail giants and say NO! the people are no longer paying for your executive bonuses! And that the government will tax you equal value for every bonus payed out!
If they worried more about running this country instead of whos going to win an election, ithink we would be in much better shape ,and we,d have a descnt party running everything for a change.

Makes you wonder if they become politicians because they care - or for their own glory - I think I just answered my own question
You guy's answer your own questions. Why Vote at all. The candidates never listen to the people. The inner House never consider the People. So why Vote. Abstain. Break the Circle. Show them all that the people have a voice By abstaining from Voting.
Gillard Rudd Fighting over who is gonna be leader.
EXCUSE ME: But didn't the People elect Gillard to serve as leader of the country.
Then surely if the Party oust Gillard they immediately give up their right to lead the country; and the Country goes to Polls again to elect a New Party & Leader.

This was after the guy had saved our aussie buts by stimulating our economy thus avoiding a ressesion & the global finacial crisis !After getting rid of the liberals work choices laws that were killing our industry and jobs after apologiesing to the Aborigional people on behalf of past goverments Julia Gillard stepped into the job unwanted by the voters Its downright unaustralian ! I hope she chokes on the votes tommorrow but ill support anyone over Tony Abbot and the Libs

you dont actually have to vote if you dont want too, you only have to attend the polling booth and have your name listed as attended. It is just generally if you have gone to the trouble of going that far you may as well have your say.
Politics scmolitcs, doesnt seem to make a hell of a lot of difference who is in the top seat, they all feather their owns nests first and are totally out of touch with the people they are supposed to represent

Labour would Never Ever have an election at this time as they would most certainly lose.
I notice that there hasn't been much said by the Libs good thing too as Labour are doing a great job tearing the Party asunder all by themselves, never seen anything like it... boy Rudd hasent been a thorn in Gillards side he has been a damn great Dagger.
Gillard would have signed a deal with the Devil so desperate is she to stay PM.
Rudd cant help himself he will be plotting and scheming from the back benches.... a perfect position to do a lot of damage.

Well there you go. I thought Australia had a General Election shortly after the last take over. Forgive me for my error in thinking.
But I still stand by "If you wish to change Party Leadership in this way, You give up your right to lead the country, And The Country goes back to the Polls.
After Rudd's Stimulus Packages of Insulation (at double the normal price and then every property having to be checked for poor workmanship that cost a few house fires and a life or 2, and the massive School's Stimulus where a select few architects managed to do some great buildings at double the price (and don't forget the 2 built in Geelong which cannot be used because they are flood prone), many voters had had enough when the election was on. Certainly stimulated a few bank accounts.
Labor(ing) did not have a clear majority, they needed to hand out gifts to the Greens and Independants to take the lead. So they booted Rudd out and handed it to Gillard. With declining popularity because of all the great things they are doing, this farce of the leadership challenge is nothing but a farce. While a few of the Govt members voiced their concern, there was no way the left, the centre left, the far left where going to not support Gillard. Rudd only had support of the left-right-out mob.
And as said earlier, there is a Law that says you must atend a polling booth and you must get your name crossed off. There is no law that says you have to fill anything in.
Oddly enough, when you fill in your Tax Return, you sign a declaration that all of the contents you have entered are correct. If you enter that you received an income, you then have to enter lots and lots of details. But what happens if you only fill in your tax file number, name and address and then sign it? "Yes, Your Honour, everything I entered was true and correct."
