Why should he apologize for doing what he thought is right? It is not his fault that your feeling were hurt..He didn't do anything wrong or cruel. He did what he thought was best..it isn't anything to say he is sorry for..Should he feel compassion..yea..but he is not in the wrong from the way you explain..Its not like he mislead you or lied..

Well, yes he did. We were dating, we were involved. And he just upped and left without a word. I wasn't wrong in marrying the girl (or yes he was, because he was not in love) he was wrong for not ending it with me, for whatever the reasons. It was his fault my feelings were hurt and my heart broken, it was no one else's fault. And he shouldn't feel compassion or pitty me, he needs to own up to his own actions. We did have plans for the future, so I was mislead.
I can see by your response that you think it is correct to date someone and then one day not call her again, because it isn't your fault if she falls in love with you, someone who might probably treated her right, with love and cared for her (though I take leave to believe that you'll care for someone besides yourself). that wouldn't be cruel or wrong, according to you... Your story must be quite a story...your heart must have ended in a million shards...
