Good evening everybody!

A guy and I just arranged a date for later on and I am really looking forward to it. He seems nice, knows what he wants and isnt bad looking either.
What I am worried about is, is myself. I went on so many dates, can't even tell how many. But after the dates, I was disapointed, there wass no spark or anything, but mostly there was nothing from site. Now I am doubting at myself! Am I too picky, too fuzzy, too high standards?? I always had great chats with the guys before and really enjoyed it, but as soon as we met, all the excitment was gone. moping
Anybody experienced the same?

Why do people look for the "spark" after meeting someone for the first time? Why not just enjoy the company and then at the end of the night decide if you want to meet again!!. Remember, the other person is also nervous. If you enjoyed the company online, then it will happen in real life. Just like the net,it will take a bit of time for both to relax.

Hope all goes well. Good luck

No, you're spot on, that sounds about just right. Lowering standards in not a good idea. If anything you sould raise them a little.

The joys of talking so much on here then meeting in person and not having much to talk about you haven't already, The result of peaking the pip so to say, You may be fussy, not easily amused or grown to not be excited by meeting random strangers offline anymore. You may have bad taste or the guys just didn't make an effort or were that embarrassed or shy they didn't know what to do and by your disappointment , took the hint that you didn't like them.

But you should really know if you're too needy or fussy or picky, however just wanting a tall guy is not what i would call any of those. Is that really all you want in a guy?
