It depends on who's definition of love you're going with hun...or what it was defined as for the purposes of the survey. You can ask as many people as you can find walking down the street and they will most likely all give you a different answer to what being in love means to them...

I agree most of these surveys are very general and everyone's outlook on love is different..

hmmm interesting... i can't speak for women, but my one experience if being in love, i knew within minutes... maybe i didn't feel the love for her with the same intensity as when i first told her that i loved her, but when i first met her, i knew within minutes that this was someone special

Just putting on the body armour before I say that yeah maybe women do really only fall in love just once and for whatever reason loss of their partner for example , they may see being with another partner as second best . Any views on this..
As for knowing within hours if I as a bloke had found the right woman for me well I don't think it's humanly possible to know in such short a time for either men OR women to know .
I think men can mistake lust for love

oh god yea... i got no problem doin that... but hey, if u like a guy too, you shouldn't be afraid of making the inital move yourself.. some people, both men and women, are shy by nature... so if u see someone you like nd he ain\t comin over to you, then get yourself over to him ;)

i dont agry with you regards on - ''getting over to him'', I think man should approach women. If he cant get over the fear of rejection he doesnt fancy that girl enough to take a risk. Women who aproach guys are called DESPARETE too many times. :)
