have loaded some oldies tonight,
but I love chicago (Peter Cetera), Genesis, Cat Stevens (Yes I know..)
I also like some of the modern artists, Enemin, Usher (more) as long as it has a good beat, and I don't feel like hitting my head against a brick wall - I'm okay with, not into really heavy heavy rock, and don't like classical country....

That's cool. Sounds like we're pretty much on the same page. I have quite literally 'hundreds' of tracks saved at YouTube. So sit back and be (Either) entertained, or bored to death!

I download mine and convert to mp3 so that I can play them on my surround sound

I have a temporary hearing problem at present. So i'm listening in glorious mono
My surround is a bit old fashioned...
solid wood with centre speaker (3) woofer which doubles as a coffee table, 2 tall ones (has 3 speakers) and then the corner speakers, all plugged into a u beaut amp.... sadly my car doesn't have the same set up, but I keep dropping hits to hints to my children that I would love a new sound system for my birthday.... I don't think they are listening...
