Yep you are probably right but dont you think interviews are a joke really. Like most of the questions if you really told the truth about what you think or how something should be done ( or not as mostly is the case) then you would never work again. You tell them what they want to here and if you can tell a good story and spout long enough the job is yours - I know so many people who talk up a good story but are crap at their jobs.

too true, I work in a high accident industry, but when I had an interveiw for a factory job, recently taken over by yanks, they asked me if they could eliminate accidents, I said no, because you would have to have a safety policy covering a safety policy and eventually you would trip over the safety policy, they wanted me to say YES.
Thankfully I didn't get the job.scold

see how stupid it all is. Health and safety is mostly just a joke where i have worked too. Some of the offices I go to are unbelievable - I could have an accident at any one of them - in fact maybe thats what I should be doing and put in massive claimsrolling on the floor laughing Once I was in a meeting with the Health and safety officer and I mentioned how bad this particular office was - he came and did an inspection and made some recommendations - and 4 months later nothing had changed - and nothing had been moved!! Bet he still got his pay cheque at the end of each month though. Who was checking on him do you suppose. confused
