I thought the league was decided on 38 games instead of 1

let me explain myself
i think its the beginning of the end for man u.
they cant get the best players because of chelsea and now city
5 years ago they would have got yaya toure ,nasri or the ace in the pack silva
not now
the only reason united win games the last few years is cause of fergies winning mentality ,its a poor united team compared to years gone by
united have allways had a dominant midfielder and a playmaker in their team ,the likes of bryan robson/maclair/paul ince or roy keane ,theres noone of that caliber now
michael carrick and anderson are average players ,fletchers good but hes allways injured
and vidic and ferdinand are injured all the time too
hes bought some good young players in smalling and jones and ashley yopung is a decent player but hes not in the class of that city trio i mentioned earlier

Fletcher was injured at the end of last season and the start of this seasoon because he had a virus. To say he is always injured is a bit of a stretch. Last season we won the league without a dominant midfielder and a playmaker. How do you explain that?

Ferdinand has had a lot of injuries yes but apart from the start of the season, Vidic hasn't been injured that much.

As for Young, he is an establish international at this stage. Silva and Toure are great players but Nasri can be inconsistent. I doubt he would even get in the United team. He didn't even start against United the other day.
