Supposedly one application lasts for 50 miles, you can buy it in Dublin also.

Sorry for confusing but I would wait and hear the reports on it if I were you. If you use it and end up in a ditch or worse you may find you have no insurance. The damage to your tires and excessive fuel consumption is only small beer compared to what you could be liable for in the event of an uncovered accident with a third party. Letting some air out of your tires and driving carefully will probably do the same thing. Ask your garage person or tyre sales place. And stay safe up there.

Well I mostly just go into Total Coward Mode and don't drive at allblushing Last year I had to take buses and walk to work....not easy seeing as we have a part time bus service in these here parts...kinda like the Ryanair version of Bus Eireann!

not really a good idea dropping your tyre pressure you will the same or even less traction and can cause steering issues

I know the AA has changed it's tune on reduced tyre pressure but it's always worked for me. In slippy conditions it's much easier to get traction with a softer tyre. The AA are subject to giving advice in accordance with the manufacturers specifications, I'm not.
