chris27292729: What are you talking about,i did not rejuvenate the thread.

You may not have brought it back up but it is your creation and your first response is jumping up and down with joy. The person that did bring it up is surely no stranger to you so why send mail that you are offended. You should be proud of your opinions and how you feel about the USA. You are not the only person that shows hatred for it. Who knows maybe you even hate some other country as much..or are we the winner on that one. doh

In response to: Are they leaving Law and Order in Iraq or a country where Law and Order does not apply.

What did we leave behind in Iraq?

- About 2 million dead men, women, and children.
- A ruined economy.
- A shattered infrastructure.
- Tons of depleted uranium dust that will keep on killing people
in Iraq for a million years.
- A permanent hatred for the US and its allies.
- Several trillion dollars worth of wasted time, effort, and material.

I was curious about what you thought. I was married there and had talked about many things and heard different views. NO one listens to me either. you see, even you don't care to answer. No problem. You see me for something that I can never be. I am the one that will possibly walk past you sometime in the next year and you will not even look my way. I am not the picture. I am simply another person.

This is a open thread and I was expressing my opinion on a few things. I have no reason to force or even ask people to "Like" the USA. I happen to live here. I was born here. I don't always agree with everything that happens. but when people just hate entire countries and the people that live in them then they are not meeting the people, only seeing one thing and then causing anguish on all that reside there. That is why I would not just say something like I don't like one country or this one. And then start running them down. And Chris, like I said earlier, it is not as though you have changed your view in the past year. But maybe you have. Last I saw you were jumping up and down with a joy. All this business about "forcing" what is that? where is it coming from?

I live in a tourist island. Some of my good friends are Americans and Canadians regular visitors in the island every summer,a few live permanetly all year around, having dinner and coffee together. With some of them,i agree with global American politics, with some others not,the yey's and the nie's still my friends.I jumped up and down not expecting somebody to revive a dead thread.Indirectly you accuse me of hating your country,i don't agree with SOME of the global policies of your country, but because i don't agree with US policies, doesn't mean i hate the US and its citizens. There is a huge gup between "not agreeing and hating" me thinks. No i haven't change my views, not liking some global US policies, and NO i don't hate any American, just because support his country policies, just i don't agree with him supporting them. As you SAY is an open thread, and you allowed to express your opinion, and nobody is FORCING you to like the poster or the OP of the thread. Now you know from where FORCING coming from.-

I have been reading some things about this particular war on Iraq and the embarrassment it has caused my Country. I can not say what will happen in the future as a result of what the USA decided to do and I can only hope that through all the death and injured people,,,huge numbers of civilians that were killed in this war, It is no doubt that the repercussions will probably last many lifetimes of hatred towards my Country. I am glad to hear that you do not hate all Americans. As I said before, I do not hate you in any way, shape or form Chris. I have had my views on Greece and the area there changed or maybe challenged after I fell in Love with my Ex Wife in Macedonia. I still to this day try to understand many of what has happened in parts all over the world. I apologize for coming on a bit strong in my statements and though it is a long day I hope that maybe you will see my sincerity.
Here is to a step in a better coexistence.
Cheers.

america has committed war crimes in iraq, they`ve used depleted uranium in fellujah where babies are being born deformed as a result but because this is america no-one has the courage to stand up to them and remember people they provided `facts` about iraq possessing wmd`s and thats the sole reason they went to war, so dont give me the `democracy` BS this was never about wdm`s. all about oil, america responsible for the destruction of iraq.period

PJ1961: a little history on US CIA "interventions" around the world 1929-1993

In this article that is entirely critical of the CIA, towards the end it says that it should be ended and people prosecuted. So what about the equivalents in other countries such as the ASIS, RAW, DGSE, FSB, BND, MSS, Mossad, ISI, M1-6 to name a few. What do you think should happen with these organizations. Do you approve of any of them by chance?

Glatlol: Well I had a very quick flick through the pages, looking at dates only, must have taken ages to actually go through all 271 pages and check each thread.

I always find it curious how people put energy into conjecture over how others manage... there's more than one way to find something to comment on and as a relatively new CS member it does not matter to me how old a thread is if the topic is of interest to me.

So... I guess I need to say, I am sorry you spent so much thinking time on how I may have landed here...

Blue - there is too much hatred among people, indeed. It is really sad to see that political/social/media/liars have people all bent out of shape over things not worth fighting over. I see it in Latin America, too - Costa Ricans hate Nicaraguans, others hate Mexicans... and so on it goes, the never ending cycle of hatred. Very sad.

Peace to you, Blue peace
