Nessa7: Hi Jeepers .... I didn't say "I don't know what normal is" .... I said why worry to be normal .... When being unique is so much better .... To be normal means being like everybody else which I find boring ....Why care to be like the other person just Coz you think they are normal ... There is only one of you ... Embace it ... So be yourself ... Be unique ..
Here is part of the dictionary's definition of the word 'normal':
1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
2. serving to establish a standard.
3. Psychology.
a. approximately average in any psychological trait, as intelligence, personality, or emotional adjustment.
b. free from any mental disorder; sane. Thing is, who set's the standard? Is it based upon a certain percentage of the population? At what point does one thing or action no longer be considered 'normal', and hedges across the line to 'abnormal'? I think that here in North America there are certain standards based upon societal laws, and to cross those lines (or break the laws) might deem one as not normal. But as for actions that don't necessarily break any laws, yet are not commonplace (i.e., a majority of the population would not partake in them), should they be considered 'abnormal'
Personally I feel why be part of the crowd ... Be ourselves even if it is strange .. It makes us who we are .. as long as we not hurting anyone or its not illegal ..

Yep .... start asking yourself 'Do I spin three times and pat my head at the same time as rubbing my tummy every time I go to the loo?' ... if the answer is 'Yes' ... you are .... Normal!

So who´s more "normal"?
the 6ft skinny guy who´s at Uni studying to be a doctor
or
the 5ft10 stocky guy who´s fitting tyres at the local car mechanics?
Do you think it´s a normal itch or an abnormal itch? See unlike you I´m not a doctor, although I can change tyres, but they don´t normally complain about having an itch

EagleWoman: Do you know any?
I think you got me on that one. I'll have to think for a while. I know that I work with some normal people, but they are busy walking all over people trying to get up the corporate ladder, I don't want to bother them right now.

But ..... you could insist telling them it´s really important ... and you got an itch an all that?
On second thoughts ... nevermind about the itch ... you could always wear really tight trousers
