Thank you Nuala. That scene has been played out several times since it was written in 1999, both in my world and in her world.
We had been doing the Long Distance Relationship for two years already before that was written.

Thats great to hear and may i add my world fell apart in 99, as sadly my husband took his life. But i believe in living each day as my last as someday it will.

As he sets the tea cup on the stand her eyes flutter.
Good morning sunshine he whispers as he leans closer to her beautiful face. This is the first day of the rest of our lives darling. And I do love you so very much. Their lips gently touch or what seems to be an eternity.
As he stands into the upright position she smiles and says: Pinch me please for I want this to be real. Have we conquered the odds, am I really here, are we really together at last.
As he leans closer for a hug he says: Yes babe, Your flight was on perfect schedule and our new lives began with that prescious hug.
His eyes turn toward the window and hers follow to witness this beautiful sunrise together.
As she sets up the wild hair casually falls over her breasts and he instantly sees what it is that he fell in love with. Not only did he fall in love with her heavenly body, he fell in love with the innocence of that morning smile, The look in her eyes, The beauty of her wild brunette hair. He fell in love with this woman.
He begins to hum a tune as he leaves to refill their cups. On his return with a smile on his face he looks into his hands and only sees one cup. As the door opens he awakens from his dream.
