i have one and we are great friends as she is more like a sister than the sister i have. I love her and would protect her but this doesnt ruin anything. We remain the best of friends through thick and thin

I'm still best friends with someone I've known since I was about 7. I love him dearly, but it's brotherly love.
We've both drunkenly discussed the weirdness if anything progressed further, and we both agreed it would seem too creepy.
