I'm not going to be paralysed from smoking a joint..there is a good chance of paralysis if you crash a motor cycle if not paralysis multiple fractures ireland

allAboutU: have you never driven one?

no I wouldn't I had a cousin who died after crashing his bike..also had a friend who broke his 2 arms when a car pulled out in front of him...I'll learn from their mistakes and keep well away from those death trapsireland

Iseek: I wouldn't agree at all. I have driven bikes of min 250cc to Maximum of 1500cc since I was 16 years old.

I was almost destroyed in an accident about 15 years ago, spent almost a year in Hospital and after that in recovery. All of this happened whilst i was stationary at a roundabout in a Volvo estate car.

At the very most I got exhaust burn and a fracture on a Motorcycle, despite riding for almost 30 years..

You can get away with things like that for years then BOOM you've crashed and burned ireland

Iseek: That is often a huge misunderstanding, the more power a bike has can actually reduce the risk of an accident. (of course I mean used correctly) Most of my friends that had bike accidents, found the cause was lack of power, (example) A friend of mine drove bikes for 27 years without any accidents, one day whilst his bike was being worked on, he borrowed a 125cc just to get home and back the next day to the garage. Next day on the way to the garage a mini car pulled out in front of him (at about 50 mph), the Mini driver panicked, slapped on the brakes and stalled the car. Bang, he hits the car.

Afterwards he told me there was no doubt that lack of power, caused a situation where he couldn't power up and drive out of the situation.

maybe so..the cousin had a cbr600 and he collided with a trailer when a van pulled out in front of him...the friend had a suzuki marauder 125 when again he crashed into a car that pulled out in front of him..thats how most bikes crash people driving cars don't be looking out for motorcyclists at junctions and in most cases they are too small to see anyway and at the speed the go at the come out of no where ireland

stanley8m: Exactly, two wheeled hearses.

Plus all Bikers seem to do is ride around for a couple of hours and gather in a gang outside a pub somewhere. Like What's the enjoyment in that

most are wafters too and go into the toilets to sniff the airlaugh

Yeah, I know different people like diff things, but GAA is healthy outdoors, sport, exercise, passion and doesn't leave you in a coffin or with arms and legs missing. I just don't get it , dunno
