Isnt it the main places where people mingle on the weekends and it's ur best bet to fInd yourself a potential partner! So the question is why have people turned their back on the pub club scene??

I imagine they've been going there for a number of years and it hasn't worked for them...this is just a different option for some people

use to go to a club in cork city years ago called sidetrax,i go there every thurday,sunday and monday night.was brill but it closed down.now me too old all a very young crowd,i now most drink at home

See that's what I'm hitting at. Your not to old at all and I dunno how people drink at home on their ownmcattack: I imagine they've been going there for a number of years and it hasn't worked for them...this is just a different option for some people

i never had any interest in meeting someone in a pub because im not a huge drinker and i dont think someone who went out every weekend with the aim of getting drunk would suit me. im not the most confident person when it comes to face to face things and if it was someone i fancied i wouldnt stand a hope of stringing a sentence together but thats just me

I think it's good to get out of your own town, new faces etc I enjoy going out on a Saturday night but do get fed up going to the same place same faces so like to get out of the town every so often
