He's left the reservation Ray speaks of on numerous occasions the troop increase in Afghanistan while saying he was decreasing is one, the name change of the combat troops in Iraq to support when they were supposed to be gone from August of '08 is another and then attacking Pakistan on numerous occasions as well as instigating another attack on Libya is yet indication he is a realistic man when the chips are down. His strong moral stature on keeping Gitmo open as well as offing terrorists be they Bin Laden or a US citizen are all indications he is not afraid to let the bullets fly when needed. Too bad he doesn't have your support as it would give him some confidence I'm sure.
Now if he could only listen to his advisers to stop the attacks on US soil as Bush did then he would be on solid ground in this respect.

While I'm not fond of the libertarian hatred of government per se, I just read Rand Pauls' book, Government Bullies: How Everyday Americans Are Being Harassed, Abused, and Imprisoned by the Feds.
I do believe that most of what he's said is true (well except the parts about blaming Obama for everything
).. believe me it started way before him! But what he fails to emphasize is that our government has been bought by special interests who have a mad desire to control us, our free thought and deny us by legally changing the rights and privileges that our constitution tried to formulate to protect us. If money can buy governments, then roughshod plutocratic dictators make for obedient, even if conveniently deluded sheep... in the short term. You can only hold them down for so long before they see the unsavory light of their true confinement, as history has proven.

Never said nor was your comment about who started them - even though Bush never did as the US was attacked remember and, the UN had a resolution calling for member states to assist Kuwait after Iraq started that one.
Now, getting back to the crux of it all where you said Obama was less bloodthirsty even though he has attacked more countries. How does that one work out again please?

Trickle down economics is not the source of our problems - and if you look at Bush's record of job growth it was quite healthy until the Democrats took over Congress and started spending like fools. That was 15 months before the crisis hit...only time I've ever seen them work so fast in my life.
What Obama wants is trickle-down government (with a few healthy wars thrown in for good measure). Good luck finding financial success living off a clogged government drip line.

And here is the shame of all of this...... the Obamacare taxes, the Obamacare truth, inflation, bankruptcy, etc..... all of it was carefully designed not to hit the American public until after he gets re-elected.

That's very true. Moreover, while there are many similarities between the two plans, the devil is in the details - and they are very different in that regard.

Last week's Congressional hearing into the Benghazi attack made big news as the cover up, lies and deception of the Obama Administration unraveled before our eyes.
Many other outlets will report on the combination of outrageous incompetence and unmitigated arrogance of the so-called “Career State Department Officials” that led to the loss of four lives in the Benghazi attack
That aspect of this despicable episode of foreign policy blundering will not go away. But something more seems to have been lost here.
Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-Cleveland), a staunch and consistent opponent of American intervention in the Middle East, reminded everyone that:
•Our bombing and destruction of Libya was not authorized.
•Obama never received approval from Congress for any of the actions America took in that war.

"When British diplomats abandoned their offices in Benghazi over the summer after the British ambassador’s motorcade was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades, their security detail left its weapons and vehicles in the custody of the U.S. consulate in that eastern Libyan city.
...Before withdrawing, however, British officials reached an agreement with the U.S. consulate to leave their weapons and vehicles at the poorly guarded U.S. compound.
“We are working with the U.S. to establish what, if anything, has happened to this equipment,” British news agencies quoted an unnamed Foreign Office spokesman as saying.
The issue of the missing weapons and vehicles came to light during testimony Wednesday at a congressional hearing in Washington, where Lt. Col. Andrew Wood of the Utah National Guard, who headed a 16-member U.S. military security force in Libya, revealed that the British would return periodically to Benghazi and reclaim the weapons, then give them back to the Americans when they left the city again.
Wood added that he had expected an attack to come sooner or later. “I almost expected the attack to come,” he said. “We were the last flag flying. It was a matter of time. The security in Benghazi was a struggle and remained a struggle throughout my time there.”
